Finally our Welsh B cremello colt has arrived! Afterglow at Ardiel (Spud) travelled up from Victoria, alongside his beautiful palomino mother, Amaranda Amanda Jones
(Mandy). ABlue moon Images was kind enough to provide a professional photo shoot for both of the horses whilst they were still in Victoria. Check out their wonderful
photos on their webpages, for
SPUD and MANDY. Spud will be the cornerstone of our coloured show pony breeding program. We have waited a long time to find a double
dilute colt of this calibre!
10th April 2011
Encantador Albedrio has come to Ardiel. Many thanks to Richard and Nina Kalina, who have entrusted us with their beloved boy. Alby will be serving a selection of our
mares and will also be available to approved outside mares. We had a lovely visit with Richard and Nina in the blue mountains, and their organic farm is just amazing! Truely
wonderful genuine people with a real passion for the Andalusian breed. You can see all of
ALBY's photos, just click on his name.

Bronwyn Drew of Daiken-Lea Pony Stud has kindly given us the opportunity to have the lovely APSB Australian Pony Stallion Melac Excalabar (Cal) join our stud. Cal is
also a RPSB Riding Pony approved stallion, and will serve one of our Section A chestnut riding pony mares. We hope to soon bring in a dilute and a broken coloured
Australian pony mare to compliment Cal. See
EXCALABAR's photos here.

Our search for a quality double dilute Australian Pony mare is over! Dunlea Little bit of Heaven (Cremello registered APSB Australian and AHSA Arabian Pony) arrived
today, and she is everything we hoped for as a match for Melac Excalabar. Heaven travelled with her companion RPSB Section A Riding pony mare, Missy, who will be
registered as Ardiels Highland Magic. We were thrilled to be able to also add another quality riding pony mare to our stud, Missy has a superb quiet nature, and both girls
settled in instantly.
See photos of both of the girls from these links :

Our two Amaranda Welsh B ponies arrived today, many thanks to Garry for personally picking up the girls and bringing them to us. Amaranda Dutchess is a black
13hh mare, and Amaranda Patricia (Zip) is a cremello filly. Zip is a very tall girl for 10 months, and we are hopeful that she will break the 13hh mark. Dutchess and
Zip join Amaranda Amanda Jones, our palomino Welsh B mare, to complete outWelsh B core stock. Exciting times ahead with our plans for Spud and these 3 girls,
who together carry some of the best lines in the country.
24th August 2011
El Caballero Remiento Rocoso has arrived to join us at Ardiel. Rocky is a rare Rabicano bay Andalusian stallion, sent to us through the generosity of
Garry and Colleen, who have owned Rocky since he was 5 months old. Garry is a well known natural horsemanship trainer, and has done extensive work
with Rocky. This is evident in the outstanding temperament, willingness, and high level of respect shown by this gorgeous stallion. Rocky will serve
selected Ardiel mares, and will be available to approved outside mares. See photos of
ROCOSO in action!

We are so proud of our beloved mare Ardiels Moonlight Sonata (Lunar), just one week after weaning her foal Ardiels Battle Hymns, she was brought in and ridden by my 6
year old daughter, Caity. Lunar behaved beautifully, and Caity was thrilled to finally be able to ride her favourite mare. Lunar and Caity are a match made in heaven, and
Caity has loved her since she was a toddler. It is just a magic feeling to see your own child bond with a home bred horse, and for the two of them to work so perfectly
together is a dream come true for any parent.
1st May 2011
Caity proudly took her mare Lunar to pony club, just two weeks after weaning her foal, and after only 2 rides, this fantastic mare took it all in her stride! What a gem
she is! See pics of Caity and
LUNAR at PC.
1st August 2011
Right on time for the Horse's Birthday, our first foal of the season is born! A leggy bay (to grey) colt from Karma MF, sired by Romerito. The option on this boy
was pre- ordered and his development will be watched by his excited proven sire and a mare of exceptional calssical beauty!
27th March 2011
We have been having some wonderful trail rides this month, taking out Merridale Versace, Odin, Melody Park Cinderella, and Bubbles. We have also had some great rides
with friends who brought their horses along to visit! Living on the edge if the Pilliga allows us to have some wonderful trails right on our doorstep, the kids have had a great
time , egtting in as many rides as we can before winter arrives! Lots of pics taken from horseback to see in our facebook albums. Add us as friends, under Ardiels
FantasyEquines.
28th August 2011

Rocosos first time under saddle with us, ridden in a stock saddle and a rope halter, he was so well behaved! Lots of lovely quiet controlled power, and
a real spring to his step. Sorry no pic this time, as it was 6.30pm before we got around to the poor boy, and getting quite dark!
11th September 2011
Prankster has started his NH groundwork today, and took it all in his stride. He enjoyed some onlead and liberty work in the training paddock,
and had great fun with his horseball.  We will move to the roundyard later in the week.
26th September 2011
Excalabar left us today to stand at stud with our friends from Blau Estate. It was a sad day for us, but Alison is one very excited lady, and we
have spent so much time together on the phone we are like family!
7th October 2011
After less than 24 hours on the market, our horse float sold! Great news for us, and we are very excited to be travelling to pick up our new float
next week.
19th October 2011
We picked up the new float on the 14th, and it had its first job today, to pick up Lin Brown's lovely mare Docs Girl Sapphire Belle, who is
here to go in foal to Rocoso.
23rd October 2011
A very exciting day! Our 30 ft motorhome finally is here! Built on a Bedford Freightliner, it is fully self contained with shower, toilet,  a
self sufficient solar power, system, instant LPG hot water, and gas cooking. Aside for being a great method of accomodation for stud
visitors, one day we may also be able to hitch up the float and go travelling with the GGs!

Thanks you to Claire at Riders Diary, for promoting our lovely mare LQ China and her filly Ardiels Song of Courage, with their photo used
in the Breeders Mare and Foal record pages. We love our Riders Diary, and the new breeders refils make life a breeze to record all our
stud infomation. Click the thumbnail on the right to view.

Many thanks to Sweetbulk Horsefeeds, who used a photo of our lovely mare Ardiels Moonlight Sonata with my daughter Caitlyn at their stand at Equitana.
We had some great positive feedback, and we are proud supporters of Sweetbulk Horsefeeds!
It was lovely to see our daughter  Caitlyn appear in Baroque Horses Magazine, with our Andalusian horses Romerito, and Ardiels Moonlight
Sonata. Danielle does a magnificent job producing this magazine, its a must for any Baroque enthusiast!
January 2012
This month saw the arrival of three lovely foals, and the departure of one of our babies to his new show home in Victoria. The kids have been picking
up the pace on their riding schedule in preparation for Show season.
Amaranda Amanda Jones is now in full work and is going beautifully under saddle.
February 2012
We are getting the horses prepared for show season, my daughters Amber and Caity had a lovely day at their Show Clinic, they rode MP Cinderella, and
Ardiels Moonlight Sonata, photos of everyone available
here.
Amaranda Amanda Jones is becoming a lovely childs mount, and my son Luke aged 5 is now riding offlead, on Windsong Silver Bonny. Family photos of all
the kids riding their ponies can be seen
here. Seeing the kids riding so well is very uplifting, and sharing my passion for horses with my whole family is
the most wonderful experience!
March 2012
Amber and Caity had a wonderful day at the Coonabarabran show. They brought home some ribbons, but more importantly, they enjoyed
themselved thoroughly! The ponies went very well for them too, and it was the first outing for our Pinto Australian Pony mare,
Windsong Silver
Bonny, who was ridden by Catie. Amber took MP Cinderella, our RPSB Mare. Photos of the event can be seen in our Facebook  Album Here
We also welcomed Ardiels Colonial Girl  to the family. She is a tall tobiano quarterhorse mare, who we hope will have a career Team Penning. She
has lovely conformation, to suit our Andalusian program and so will be an asset to us later on for breeding too. We have been looking for a tall
black and white mare for quite some time, and this girl certainly ticks all the boxes!
April 2012
Ardiels Little Bubbles has done us proud once again, beginning her harness training with flying colours. She has taken to it like a duck
to water, and the kids are having a ball enjoying rides in their sulky all around town. She is the first pony we have broken to harness,
and we have had an enormous amount of fun training her. See her
page for some nice harness photos.
Congratulations to Dee Kelly, from AblueMoon Images, whose professional photo of our Welsh B colt, Afterglow at Ardiel, has came
second in the Professional Head Study Category of the international Equine Ideal - Winter 2012 Photography Contest - Sponsored by
the Equine Photographers Network. Results can be seen

We welcome to our stud a daughter of the renoun imported Welsh sire Sarnau Saunter, Kintyre Ebony is a well performed mare in hand
and under saddle. She arrived with
Amaranda Snowline, a cream mare sired by Imperial Juggler.
Another lovely pair of new arrivals were
Eredmithrin Eowyn and Eredmithrin Evenstar, a Welsh B mare and Australian Pony mare, who
were green broken then turned out for breeding. My daughters and I are enjoying the challenge of bringing them back into work.
